These bags are perfect for protecting large bunches of bananas; unlike the plastic ones commonly used these bags are super strong and prevent even the most persistent vermin from gaining access to our fruit. I am talking scrub turkeys and flying foxes that have sharp teeth, claws and beaks. They cannot make an opening in these bags which are well doubled over on the stem where they try to break in and so they just give up and leave. I just cut an opening in the sealed end of the bag so that I can view the fruit from the ground and pull the bag up over the banana bunch and tie the top with some bale twine. I recommend these bags if you have trouble getting the plastic ones torn into shreds.
