Walbro’s new Ethanol and UV resistant primer bulbs have been specifically developed for use with higher ethanol blends and to protect against phase separation in fuel. Made with proprietary materials designed to remediate the problems caused
by direct sunlight and aggressive fuel additives commonly found in today’s fuels.
Ethanol E10, a fuel mixture of 10% ethanol and 90% petrol, is commonly found at petrol stations. The ethanol found inside of fuel blends pose problems as the engines are unable to compensate for the increased heat levels, decreased lubrication, and increased corrosive effects associated with a higher alcohol content. The undesirable result could be engine damage. Water also becomes an issue with ethanol blends. The fuel mixtures naturally hold 0.5% water in suspension, but any increase in this percentage causes "phase separation", whereby the water/ethanol mix falls out of its suspension and descends to the bottom of the fuel tank. It’s true that all gasoline is susceptible to the ill-effects of changes in weather and moisture content, but ethanol makes the problem even worse. Continued phase separation negatively impacts fuel systems and damages engine parts, especially air purge bulbs. However, an ethanol-resistant air purge bulb can mitigate the harmful effects of ethanol to drive better engine performance and longevity. Your satisfaction is our long term pursuit and up-most concern. Please inspect your delivery immediately it arrives and notify us if there are any problems.

If you have received a damaged item, we need to be notified within 48 hours of receipt. If you change your mind, you have 30 days in which you can return the item for a refund less postage and handling. Customers will be initially responsible for shipping and handling on all returns. If item is covered by warranty or found to be not as described Green Acres Mowers will reimburse the standard postage cost. Products returned must be in as new original condition and packaging. Kits must be returned with all parts included. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the item purchased is the correct item before cutting, altering or final fitment. Any products returned, must be posted to our Post Office Box as provided, please also include Invoice Number, products returned without a reference to the sales order cannot be processed. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on a returned item if the item has been fitted or is not in original condition, including packaging.
